In Daniel 4:25 it states that God, Most High, is sovereign over all kingdoms. Have you ever just stop & think about what that means? How many times have we just took the face value of the words?
Daniel 4:25 New International Version (NIV)
” You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”
Sovereign is unlimited!! God is unlimited over all the kingdoms on earth & gives them to anyone he (God) wishes. Why do we still try to do everything ourselves? We are not sovereign. We have limits. We are not all powerful. Why do we keep trying to rule everything?
It may be time to rethink how we are thinking who is in charge. We get free choice, free will to pick what we want. Even with all of our freedom God is still sovereign, we are not.
